Our 45-year story: dynamism and design for the future

Carlo Martin founded the company in 1981 in Veneto, an area renowned internationally for the production of furniture and accessories. Mital immediately consolidated its position in the national market with a wide range of wooden knobs and handles, before expanding its product range and using different materials such as zamak, brass and plastics, according to market demand.

The current range includes knobs, handles, coat hooks, shelf supports and other fittings to help renovate, implement or customise any piece of furniture, wall or an entire room.

The founder’s sons, Giovanni and Alessandro, carry on the business, continuously improving all aspects: design, production, quality control and distribution. Mital is also among the first companies in the industry to adopt a code of ethics, which constitutes a code of conduct for all those with whom it works. The company proposes and disseminates a morally elevated business model, in which priority is given to respect for the law, for workers, partners and competitors and, of course, a commitment towards reducing environmental impact.

Mital comes to Sicam 2026 (Pordenone | 20–23 October | Hall 4 Stand A13) with a renewed look, clearer and more defined. For its 46th anniversary, Mital has redesigned its visual identity, to make the company’s visual language more contemporary and to state its identity and values more clearly. Mital chose Sicam, its reference trade fair, as the showcase to share this important step in its history with all its customers and suppliers.
